ASTM A269 TP304L is a standard for the low carbon version of the 304 grade ss material. They are intended for general corrosion resisting applications due to the presence of high chromium and nickel content.   • The seamless ASTM A269 Grade 304L Heater Tubes are manufactured without any welding seams. They are formed by piercing a solid billet and then rolling it into a tube shape. Welded tubes are manufactured by welding together two edges of a flat strip or a coil. The welding process can be carried out using different techniques like TIG or ERW.
