What is the difference between ASTM A269 TP321 bright annealing tube and hardening?

Bright annealing is a heat treatment process wherein the tube is heated to a specific temperature in a controlled atmosphere. It helps to prevent oxidation and achieve a smooth, polished surface finish. SA 269 Gr 321 Bright Annealed Tubes have improved corrosion resistance and appearance. During the process, the austenitic structure of the ss is retained, and the tubing becomes softer and more ductile.
