What is UNS S31803 tubes?
The UNS S31803 material has 50-50 ferrite and austenitic microstructure. They show great resistance to stress corrosion in neutral chloride solution. The UNS S31803 Tubes can be suitably used in applications within the temperature range of -50 °F to 600 °F. They can also be used in applications beyond this temperature range, but there will be certain limitations, especially if it is an A790 UNS S31803 Welded Tube.
The seamless tubes have duplex microstructure with high strength and high resistance to corrosion. They are used in brewing tanks, hot water tanks, desalination plants, etc. The tubes are capable of handling high pressure devices.
What is SA 789 UNS S31803?
SA 789 UNS S31803 material has high nitrogen content which is why they show good resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. The Duplex UNS S31803 Tubing should be used for applications taking place below 600 °F. They are resistant corrosion in both organic and inorganic acids, especially if they contain chlorides.
Exposure to elevated temperature for a prolonged period can reduce the toughness and corrosion resistance properties of UNS S31803. The ASTM A789 UNS S31803 Heat Exchanger Tubes are low weight and they can reduce the overall fabrication cost.

What is ASTM A790 UNS S31803?
The ASTM A790 S31803 Seamless Tube has a duplex steel material specification and the alloy contains added chromium and molybdenum. The A790 UNS S31803 has high strength and shows good resistance to corrosion. These tubes are a great choice for various high temperature applications, which would require extensive welding at the time of installation.
The SA789 S31803 Bright Annealed Tubes have good resistance to chloride-ion related stress corrosion cracking, and can be used in marine, food processing, automobile and various other industries. They are quite strong and can be used for high pressure applications.
